NRL22 (National Rimfire League)

Rifle-specific details:

Tikka T1x

T1x fit
A factory T1x MTR in its factory stock is a natural Base-division rifle if its MSRP plus your scope's MSRP is ≤ $1,650 (check current manufacturer MSRPs). The listed allowed accessories don't include stocks or chassis, so an aftermarket chassis probably puts you in Open; this is our reading, so confirm with the rules or your match director. Factory T1x mags are 10-rd (see magazines).

CZ 457

457 fit
CZ 457 MTR, Varmint and Pro Varmint models are common Base rifles if the rifle MSRP plus scope MSRP is ≤ $1,650. A swapped heavy barrel must stay within factory spec, and a chassis is not on the accessory list (our reading; confirm with the rules). Up to 15-rd factory mags.

What it is

A monthly national precision rimfire league. Clubs shoot the same published course of fire each month with .22 LR rifles, common props, and distances typically out to 100 yd (with an option to 200 yd). NRL22X is a longer-range version.

Rules, divisions & equipment limits

Divisions: Open, Base, Young Guns, Ladies, Old Guns, Air Rifle, Semi-Auto, Adaptive. Base: the rifle MSRP plus the scope MSRP, as listed on the manufacturer websites, must not exceed $1,650 (2026; the 2027 summary keeps $1,650). Rings, bases, bipods, suppressors, magazines, bottom metal, bolt knobs and similar accessories don't count. Factory barrels must stay in factory spec (threading is allowed). .22 LR only; no magnum rimfire.

Scoring

Hits on steel targets of published sizes (the standard package includes 1/4–1 in KYL plates and 1–3 in round targets) across timed stages. Monthly scores can be submitted for national standings.

How to join

Local matches don't require membership. Membership costs $60/yr adult and $25/yr Young Guns (2027 rules summary). It's needed for national points and Championship eligibility. Clubs register for $20/yr.
